Hi,

 

This is a fairly old printer, but let's try this:

 

 

Try the following expert's suggestion to L3.bat and then try to install the printer again?

 

http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/LaserJet-Printing/How-do-I-do-a-complete-level-4-uninstall-of-the-print...

Dear Dean, I do not dare to do so. And indeed, I think i have an "old" printer. I think that I will empty the cartridges by printing the last pages connected with cable. 

I am too afraid to delete things that are not meant to be deleted. 

So i want to thank you so very much for your help. 

It is now that I am sure I did everything. It is a wonder how it suddenly stopped working.....

Many thanks again and I will now have a look for another printer. But that will be later. 

 

I will certainly give you a big thumb up!!!!

It might just well be that the software and OS, there are some unwanted files.

 

Don't attempt if you are not comfortable.
