Hi @vip1,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

To reset the paper size on your HP ENVY Photo 7855 All-in-One Printer, follow these steps.

Check Printer Settings on the Printer Panel

  1. On the printer's control panel, touch the Settings icon or navigate to Setup.
  2. Select Printer Maintenance or Preferences.
  3. Choose Tray and Paper Management or Paper Settings.
  4. Confirm that the paper size in the tray matches your loaded paper (e.g., Letter (8.5 x 11 inches), A4, etc.).
  5. Save and exit the menu.

Adjust Paper Size in the Printer Driver

On a Windows Computer:

  1. Open the document you want to print.
  2. Press Ctrl + P to open the Print menu.
  3. Select your HP ENVY Photo 7855 printer.
  4. Click Printer Properties, Preferences, or Settings (depending on your application).
  5. Go to the Paper/Quality tab.
  6. Under Paper Size, select the correct size (e.g., Letter, A4, etc.).
  7. Click OK to save the changes.

On a Mac:

  1. Open the document and select File > Print.
  2. Select your HP ENVY Photo 7855 printer.
  3. Click Show Details to expand the print dialog box.
  4. Under Paper Size, choose the correct size (e.g., US Letter, A4, etc.).
  5. Save or apply the settings.

Reset Paper Size Defaults (Optional)

  1. On the printer control panel, go to Settings > Restore Factory Settings or Reset Defaults.
  2. Confirm the reset to return to factory paper settings.

Reload Paper Properly

  1. Remove the paper tray and reload it with the correct size paper.
  2. Adjust the paper guides to align with the edges of the paper.
  3. Reinsert the tray securely into the printer.

Once you complete these steps, your printer should print documents using the correct paper size.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
