Hi @mferraro123,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

I understand how that can be! when printer is unable to connect the PC,  Let’s try a few quick steps to get your printer connected to your computer again :

  1. Restart devices – Power off your printer and computer, wait 30 seconds, then turn them back on.
  2. Check Wi-Fi connection – Make sure your printer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your computer.
  3. Update drivers – On your computer, go to HP’s support website  https://support.hp.com/ and download the latest printer drivers/software.
  4. Remove and re-add printer – In your computer’s printer settings, delete the printer and add it back again.
  5. Run HP Smart App  – This  tool from HP automatically diagnoses and fixes connection issues.

If it still won’t connect wirelessly, try printing with a USB cable first to confirm the printer itself is working, then we can focus on the network setup.

If these steps don’t resolve the issue, please check the detailed discussion on the HP forum here: Click here .

I hope this helps.

I'm an HP Employee.
