I can not print documents outside of the HP dashboard. Prompting saysI need to change settings in HP, but I do not know how?

I think I do not understand what you are asking.

 

What is "HP Dashboard" ?

 

For example --

 

Where are you seeing the "Dashboard" you describe?

 

What is the printer model?

 

Are you seeing a request to change settings on your device (computer, tablet, phone)?

If yes, what type of device are you using?

 

Which application or software program are you trying to use to print?

 

How is the printer connected to your network?

 

Have you ever used the printer before now?
