Good morning. I came into my office this morning and opened the lid on my device to scan, only to be greeted by the pane in many pieces. Is there a warranty or replacement?

Hi @SB_Bob

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query.

I’m sorry to hear that the scanner glass broke when you opened the lid. I understand how unexpected and frustrating this must be, especially if the printer was functioning normally before. Based on your description, this appears to be a hardware-related issue that will require service. I would request you to contact the nearest service center for assistance, if the device is out of warranty, it may incur charges: https://support.hp.com/in-en/help/service-center. They will also be able to check your warranty status and advise you on the available repair or replacement options.

Take care and have an amazing day!

I'm an HP Employee.
