My serial number and product number come up as invalid

My HP Laser Jet printer is connected to the HP smart app but won't connect to my online account because the serial and product number show up as invalid. There are no 0s/Os or 1s/Is in my serial number.

Could you help me with what is the exact issue?

What device are you using the printer with a Windows computer, Mac, Android, or iPhone?

May I have the exact product name and number? Refer to this document for steps to find the product details. Do not share any of your personal information such as serial, phone number, email ID, etc

Hi Elohi,

The exact issue is I am trying to set my printer up for scan to email but my printer won't connect to the online portal because every time I type in the serial/ product numbers they show up as invalid. The printer is connected to the HP smart app

I am using a Mac to connect with the printer.

The product name is Color LaserJet Pro MFP 4301fdw.
