HP Recommended

I have an old hard-wired (USB) HP Deskjet 5150 that I'd like to use with my MacBook Pro, Ventura 13.2.1

Note that this OS version is newer than what is listed on this website.

I downloaded a driver but my Mac won't open it.

Does anyone know if I can use this ancient printer with my Mac?  It works fine with a PC, but I no longer have the PC.

Apple support just answered my questions.  The HP Deskjet 5150 is not compatible with AirPrint.

I'll toss the printer at Staples recycling.
