Operating System: Mac OS X 10.11 El Capitan

Need printer drivers and software for a HP G55 All in One officejet printer.  I am running OS El Capitan vers 10.11 . Thanks!

Hi,

This is a very old printer, the latest supported Mac OS X operating system was 10.4, it is not supported on any later OS version for years.

 

You may try the 3rd party Guten Print drivers which seems to support your printer:

http://gimp-print.sourceforge.net/MacOSX.php

 

The latest version can be installed from below link, then add the printer by selecting the GutenPrint driver for your printer, provided by GutenPrint / GIMP:
