Operating System: macOS 10.12 Sierra

Purchased a HP 2723E DeskJet Printer mostly for the price. Tried to install today but my problem is that my older Mac Sierra 10.12.6 is too old for this printer.  So what I need is to find out which of your printers would work for my OS. I just need a basic print/scan/copy unit, nothing fancy. I am returning the unit mentioned to Walmart. Thanks!
