I recently bought a new laptop and on windows 10 pro 64bit on the laptop I was trying to install my printer Deskjet 940c which is already installed on my desktop with windows 10 pro as well. This time tho the driver isn't showing from the list that appears when you click windows update while installing the printer driver. I want to know how to get the driver again either off the other pc desktop with windows 10 or from some archieve HP can provide to me.
The instructions from the hp site are from when it was possible to do it from windows 10 update list.
UPDATE I can print now, apparently the drivers I downloaded from microsoft website in cab format preinstalled them as selectable drivers while following the wizard for printer driver installation.
