macOS 10.15 Catalina

Need new driver to work with Photosmart 8150 and Catalina os10.15. Uninstalled hp drivers but virtual HP offered driver does not work on this MacBook Pro.

Hi,

Ensure your Mac is fully up to date with the latest Catalina updates, then follow below steps to uninstall any existing driver:

https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c06960563

 

Next, install the latest drivers below:

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software12/HP_Quick_Start/osx/Applications/ASU/HPPrinterDrivers5.1.dm...

 

Finally, power on the printer and ensure it is connected, open System Preferences > Printers & Scanners and click the plus sign.

Select your printer, select your printer name within the Use drop-down menu and press on add, then try printing.
