HP Deskjet 916c
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I understood, there is no updated original driver for this old printer.

But does exist an other generic driver for this printer for printing simple text?

The built-in drivers for the Deskjet 920c should be a good match.  Other alternatives would be the Deskjet 970cse or 970cxi or the Deskjet 990c.

Click on Windows Update, then wait for the list to repopulate.  Click on HP for the manufacturer (not Hewlett Packard or Hewlett-Packard) then scroll down to the "hp deskjet 920c", Next, (change the name to HP Deskjet 916c if you want), Next, Next, Finish.
