I can’t seem to be able to change my email address tied to my hpsmart.com account. There is no edit email option. How can I change it?

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding How to Change Your Email Address on HP Smart Account! 

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.  

  

To change your email address associated with your HP Smart account, follow these steps:

 

Go to the HP Smart website and click Sign In. Enter your account credentials.

Once signed in, click on Account located in the left menu, then select Profile.

Within the Profile section, navigate to Update Security Settings.

 

After making your updates, a confirmation email will be sent to your new email address. Open this confirmation email and click on Confirm email address to finalize the change.

I followed your instructions and it did not allow me to edit my email address. There was no edit option.

Got it! If you're unable to change your email address through the HP Smart website because the option isn’t visible, it’s likely due to account restrictions or the fact that the email is used as the primary login identifier. Here's what you can do instead:

 

Create a New HP Smart Account:

Go to https://www.hpsmart.com.

Sign out of your current account.

Click on Sign Up to create a new account using your new email address.

 

Reconnect Your Printer:

Once you’re signed in with the new email, go to Add Printer and follow the steps to reconnect your printer.
