Please Help

I need instructions to perform a full reset on my HP 8740 printer - forgot the admin password. All suggestions I have found on this site do not work.  I am locked out of All EWS Sections including Scan to Email, Scan to Network Folder, HP Digital Fax, Energy Save Mode, Web Services, Printer Update, Tools, Scan, Fax, Settings, and Administrator.

Although I Can scan FROM the computer - I CANNOT SCAN TO COMPUTER ... the 8740 is located in another room.
