Hi @irrdzo,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

To reset the password on an HP LaserJet Pro MFP M125nw, you can follow these instructions.

  • Turn on the printer and wait for it to reach the ready state.
  • Press the "Menu" button on the control panel of the printer.
  • Use the arrow keys to navigate to the "System Setup" option and press the "OK" button.
  • Navigate to the "Service" option and press "OK."
  • Scroll down to find the "Restore Defaults" option and press "OK."
  • A warning message will appear asking for confirmation. Select "Yes" or "OK" to proceed with the reset.
  • The printer will now reset to its factory default settings, including the password.

After performing these steps, the password for your HP LaserJet Pro MFP M125nw will be reset to the default value. The default password is typically blank or "admin." It is recommended to set a new password after the reset to ensure the security of your printer.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
