I can't program the network settings of my DeskJet 3755, I've tried resetting the network settings by pressing the wireless and cancel buttons but it still asks for an administrator password that I don't have. I've tried holding the power button down and pressing cancel 6 times but nothing happens. Please help need to reset this computer.

Greetings @_doesnt_print_,
Thanks for the post.
I understand that you are unable to configure the printer on your wireless network, is that right?
Kudos to you for trying to troubleshoot the issue on your own.
Not to worry, I will be glad to assist you.
Are you using a dual band router?
Note: HP Printers do not work or connect to 5Ghz networks. If you are using a dual band router, please give different names to 2.4Ghz and 5 Ghz networks and connect the printer to the 2.4Ghz network.
The username and password prompted during the setup could be for your computer as well.
The default username and password for the printer are usually admin/admin.
If this does not work, I would request you follow the article below to uninstall the printer, reset the printing system.
Restart your MAC and configure the printer using a USB connection.
Once the printer is working fine over USB and if you have installed the full feature software of your printer.
Open the printer utility as mentioned in this HP Article to convert the USB connection to wireless automatically.
(Have the printer disconnected from the computer during uninstallation.)
HP Printers - Uninstalling HP Printer Software (Mac)
Once you have uninstalled the printer software, reset the printing system.
HP Printers - Resetting the Printing System (Mac)
Restart the MAC.
Visit www.hp.com/drivers and enter the printer model of your computer.
Download and install the printer software of your printer.
Power On/connect the printer only when prompted during the setup.
Once the printer is working fine over USB.
Refer to this HP Article to convert the USB to wireless automatically.
Let me know if this helped.

Please just tell me how to hard reset my printer, I've done all of what you've suggested before and nothing works, it still asks for a password, I've already every password I can imagine and nothing works. I just need to reset it to factory settings, this is ridiculous, it shouldn't be that hard to get some simple instructions, please help!! I'm days away from just dumping the printer at a recycling center because I can't believe this thing is so hard to fix.

Thank you for posting your query. I'll be more than glad to help you.
I understand that you are facing issues with connecting your HP DeskJet 3755 All-in-One Printer to the network as it asking for the password.
This could be the Mac login password for your computer.
I suggest that enter Mac login password and check.
