I believe I was too fast. I was trying to turn off wireless, but I turned off wired. My printer will not connect to my wireless, so I want to reset it.

It had not occurred to me to connect it by USB cable and reconfigure it that way using HP Smart, which solved the problem.

Hi @JoeMajesty

Welcome to the HP support community.

I understand you're experiencing an issue with your HP device, and I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. I'm here to help you today.

To reset your HP LaserJet Pro 3001dw printer and re-establish its wireless connection, follow these steps:

1. Reset Network Settings

Power on the Printer:

  • Make sure your printer is turned on.

Access the Printer Menu:

  • On the printer's control panel, press the Home button.

Navigate to Network Settings:

  • Use the arrow keys to select Setup (gear icon), then press OK.
  • Select Network and press OK.

Restore Network Defaults:

  • Look for an option like Restore Network Defaults or Reset Network Settings.
  • Confirm the selection to reset the network settings.

2. Reconnect to Wi-Fi

  1. Reconfigure Wireless Settings:
    • After resetting, navigate back to the Network menu.
    • Select Wireless Setup Wizard or a similar option.
    • Follow the prompts to select your Wi-Fi network and enter the password.

3. Update Printer Driver

  • On your Windows 11 computer, make sure you have the latest drivers installed. You can download the latest drivers from the HP support website.

4. Re-add Printer on Windows 11

Go to Settings:

  • Open Settings on your computer and select Devices > Printers & scanners.

Remove Existing Printer:

  • If the printer is still listed, select it and click on Remove device.

Add Printer:

  • Click Add a printer or scanner and follow the prompts to add your printer back.

I hope this helps! Keep me posted.
