The embedded web server (EWS) for my HP DeskJet 3762 printer shows several functions that indicate that they are locked by an Administrator. I am the only Administrator that exists and I do not remember setting a custom password. I have tried all the passwords that I have associated with HP and none of them work.
Is there a default Administrative password for EWS on this printer? If not, how can I reset the printer to factory settings and allow access to those protected functions?
Have tried all the options that I have seen listed in the support forums to no avail (so far).

Check on the back of the printer for a label. If this is a wireless capable printer the default password is the same as the default wireless password.
I am a volunteer, offering my knowledge to support fellow users, I do not work for HP nor speak for HP.

Yes! That worked. I wish there was somewhere in the printed material that came with the printer that indicated that. Then the frustration factor would be much less and I wouldn’t have wasted your time with an obvious answer. Thanks so much for your help!!
