I have reset the network settings on my hp officejet 5258 how do i printq to it since i am bypassing the router?

Wi-Fi Direct is explained on page 88 of the User Manual, this Wi-Fi setup avoids configuring the router

 

you can bypass the router as long as you have not signed up for instant ink or any "plus" features

 

The default password for wifi-direct is 12345678. For more info, refer to - HP printer setup (Wi-Fi Direct)

I have fixed my printer now it prints all of the time I had to disconnect it from the network and reconnect it again. thank you for your advice that was very helpful
