neverstop 1200w

Can someone please help me before I return the neverstop 1200w I just purchased.

 

I'm trying to set up the printer, I thought it was an easy set up where I just plug in the USB, download the driver and install the software from there, but no. HP decided it was funny to have me install their HP Smart (more like HP dumb) and can never locate the printer.

 

I choose the set up new printer, don't have an option for ethernet on this printer so I have to choose wireless, then select the usb option, I connect the USB cord from the printer to my PC but it never finds it.

 

I'm at my wits end with this, it was supposed to be simple but now I'm deciding I'm going to return it unless I find someone who knows what I'm going through and found the solution.

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

 

Restart your Printer, Computer and Router and try using the HP Smart App to set up your Printer again.
