Hi @Cgsierra,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

When your HP Envy Inspire 7900e printer starts printing blank pages suddenly, it could be due to several reasons. Here’s a step-by-step troubleshooting guide to help resolve this issue.

  • Check Ink Levels: Ensure that the ink cartridges have sufficient ink. Sometimes, cartridges can run out sooner than expected.
  • Run Printer Diagnostic: Most HP printers have a built-in diagnostic tool accessible through the control panel or the printer's display screen. Run a diagnostic to check for any hardware issues.
  • Clean Print Heads: Use the printer's software utility to clean the print heads. This can resolve issues caused by clogged print heads.
  • Align Print Heads: Aligning the print heads ensures that the printer prints correctly on the page. This option is usually available in the printer's settings or utility software.
  • Update Printer Firmware: Ensure that your printer has the latest firmware installed. Firmware updates can fix bugs and improve printer performance.
  • Check Paper and Settings: Verify that the paper type and size settings in the printer match those in your print job settings.
  • Restart Printer: Sometimes, simply restarting the printer can resolve temporary issues.
  • Check for Driver Updates: Ensure that your printer drivers are up to date. Outdated drivers can cause printing issues.
  • Inspect Cartridges: Remove and reinsert the ink cartridges to ensure they are properly seated.
  • Print a Test Page: Use the printer's control panel to print a test page. This helps determine if the issue is with specific print jobs or a broader problem.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
