Hi @SteveTW1,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
To set up your HP DeskJet 3630 All-in-One printer on your MacBook Air, follow these steps.
Ensure Your Printer is Powered On: Make sure your printer is powered on and connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your MacBook Air.
Download the Correct Software:
- Go to the official HP DeskJet 3630 support page.
- Under "Drivers & Downloads," select your operating system (macOS).
- Download the HP Easy Start app (this is often the easiest way to set up the printer).
Install the HP Easy Start App:
- Once the download is complete, open the downloaded file (usually in the "Downloads" folder).
- Follow the on-screen instructions to install the HP Easy Start software.
Run HP Easy Start:
- After installation, the app should automatically launch.
- It will guide you through the setup process.
- The app will detect your printer on the network and help with the installation of drivers and additional software.
Complete the Setup:
- Follow the prompts to connect your printer to Wi-Fi (if not already connected).
- Complete any remaining steps, like setting up the printer for scanning or printing.
If the installation still doesn’t work:
- Restart your MacBook Air and the printer.
- Try downloading the software again, ensuring the download completes fully before opening it.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
