HP Smart tank 7000

Hi !
I just installed a brand new HP Smart Tank 7006. It's connected to the network, is full of ink, and can print the color test page perfectly.

But I can't print in color from my Mac running macOS Sonoma 14.2.1: there is no option in the print dialog for choosing color printing, as if macOS didn't recognize the color printing capability of the printer.

I can print in color from my iPhone running iOS 17.1.2.

Any idea how to fix this ?

Take care,

Paul-Henri

I found how to fix this: from the system printing prefs, I removed and then re-added the printer, and it fixed the problem.

I guess something goes wrong when the printer is initially installed by the HP Smart app, because a colleague using the same macOS 14.2.1 and who just installed it from scratch could print in color directly with no problem.
