No Drivers For HP Photosmart b209a-m since upgrading to Big Sur

looks like i'm having the same problem as everyone else.

my issue is with the HP All-In-One Photosmart Plus b209a-m printer...which worked amazingly until the "library" debacle and now since upgrading my mac OS...there are no drivers for my printer.

I desperately need this printer while working from home and can't go and spend a few hundred on a new one right now.

I tried the HP Easy Start method and it tells me that "We were not able to automatically locate any software options for this product.  Please go to the HP Website and search for product solutions there."

so I did...and there are no drivers for the newest mac OS.  this needs to be fixed by HP asap.

HP Photosmart Plus All-in-One Printer - B209a driver for macOS 10.15 is not available from the HP website or Apple Software Update. However, Gutenprint (formerly called Gimp-Print) provides open-source basic print drivers for many printers that would otherwise not be supported in Mac OS X. To see if your printer is supported, go to Gutenprint drivers for more information.

NOTE: Gutenprint drivers are not supported by HP or Apple.
