I've downloaded and re-downloaded and installed all the ltest software for my HOP Color Laser Jet Pro MFP M277dw.
I can scan to a Thumb-Drive or use HP's scan to email via HP ePrint, but I can't perform the fundamental operation of scanning from my Mac. The printer is on my wired Ethernet network. Attempting to Scan goes through the entire process as if it's working... I never receive any error message...but nothing ever shows up in the preview pane of HP Easy Scan (running version 1.7.0 (107) . I don't know why it's so hard to get the scanner working...if it was not for that...this Muti-function printer would be great. I am running Mac OS X Sierra on a 5K iMac.

Hi,
Please ensure you have the latest firmware installed, it is crucial to scan with your printer through te network to Sierra:
Once you are done try scanning using HP Easy Scan again.
If you experience further issues, may you see the preview successfully while trying to scan from System Preferences > Printers & Scanners and clicking Open Scanner instead?
Click the Yes button to reply that the response was helpful or to say thanks.
