HP Color Laser Jet Pro MFP M479fdw

Does HP use a new technology with the toner cartridges? I just bought a new HP Laserjet Pro M479fdw yesterday and noticed the toner cartridges that were already installed in the machine did not have any of the usual orange pull tabs that need to be removed prior to installation. However, there was no toner leakages inside of the machine despite not having the orange pull tabs. I may want to move my printer later from its current location to another part of my apartment; so, does this mean I will not have to remove the toner cartridges prior to relocating it? I certainly don't want toner all over the inside of the machine and that has been my experience with previous laser printers (had to learn the hard way!), but it was fascinating that the usual orange tabs were not present on these toner cartridges in the new printer, and that the printer installed and printed perfectly.

That is normal to reduce plastic waste.  New toner technology, no more orange pull plastic the toners are factory sealed, and when you install them in the printer the printer will unseal them. The new design of toner cartridges is more advanced there is no fear of leaks when moving ( unless you shake it or tumble)
