Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Full software is not installed. 

Redirect to search for available software does not show needed software. 

New computer, old printer.

A warm welcome to HP forums! This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips to your technical queries.

It looks like HP Deskjet 5440 Printer full feature software and driver is not available for Windows 10 operating system. However, you may Install the printer driver using the Windows Built-in Solution. You may use the steps available here to add a Windows Built in Printer driver.

I tried using the HP Print and Scan Dr but was unable to install the driver.  I have 2 of these printers (one is still NIB) and would really ylike to be able to use these printers with my computer.  When I updated to Windows 10, I lost that abiltiy, apparently.
