Not all printers support Legal size paper.
Open the printer's Product Home > Select Category Product Information > Select Topic Specifications
Read the Specifications document
For example, read sections for Paper Handling, Scan, and Print
For a printer that supports the option, legal size paper might only be supported in one tray (for those printers supporting more than one tray).
Legal size paper must (also) be a supported paper type, for example, Plain Paper.
Legal size paper, if supported by your printer, might not be compatible with all other settings in your job.
For example, some printers support duplex printing for legal sized paper but only support 1-sided scan for this paper size.
