I have downloaded HP Easy smart from HP website after which it directed me for downloading the required software. After sometime it is not showing any response. I have also updated HP firmwire updater

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you.

 

Are you trying to install the printer on the MAC?

Click here to download the HP Easy Start application.

 

Once you are done, click on the Apple icon, open System Preferences > Printers & Scanners, click the plus sign and select your printer.

Be sure to select the printer model within the Use drop down menu.

How is the printer and the MC connected?

Do you have any anti-virus program installed on the MAC?

 

Make sure the MAC is connected to the Internet. 

 

Also, check for any software updates on MAC

Click here to know how.

 

Try installing the HP Easy Start again. If the issue persists, create a new user account and install the driver.

Refer to this document to know how.
