How do I download/use the OCR software capability?  I've looked on the CD and online and can't seem to find an easy executable.

@NJ-

 

It should come with the installtion CD. Please pop the CD to your computer and look at the installation (Setup) Menu. Other option: download and install the following software, it will check your printer (which is eligible) to activate

 

   http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/readiris/Readiris14ProHPWin.zip

For some reason, when I clicked on the URL you provided for OCR software I received a 404 error message.  But then I cut-and-pasted it into my browser and it worked great.
