HI,
I downloaded the OJ2620_188.exe. When executing it, the concerned HP Officejet 2620 is not found (being connected as specified, using is possible). The dialog always proposes to continue without printer with later action.
But later action I do not find to proceed.
Any idea?
Gerhard

Hey there! @GWurth,
Is the printer connected by a wired or a wireless connection?
Have you tried checking with a different USB cable?
In the meantime, you can try few steps recommended below.
Uninstall the printer software from the root level on your PC and install the full feature printer software.
In Windows, search for and open Programs and Features.
Select your HP printer.
Select Uninstall.
In Windows, search for and open Devices and Printers.
In the Devices and Printers window look for your HP Printer. If you see it listed, right-click on it and choose "Delete" or "Remove Device.”
Open up the run command with the "Windows Key + R" key combo.
Type printui.exe /s and click OK.
Click on Drivers tab.
Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it click on it and click remove at the bottom.
Select OK.
Select Apply and OK on the Print Server Properties windows.
Close Devices and Printers.
Update the full feature printer software using this link. Click Here
Download and run print and scan doctor on the PC.
Refer this article to know more information about using the HP print and scan doctor. Click Here
Let me know if this helps!
Have a great day ahead! 🙂

Hi,
I would also ensure - is it a new printer or an old one? a common confusion is between the HP Deskjet 2620 printer (a current model marketed today) and the HP Officejet 2620 model (an older model, marketed a few years back)
