Ughh. Now I'm just getting angry.
Since it didn't want to install wirelessly I tried using USB, which windows promptly tried to install - and failed with driver unavailable again. I tried with the device setup software and it failed as well. I just don't get this. It was working perfectly fine until I had to do a Reset on my PC. Why is my only option this AIO Remote crap at this point? And what the heck did Microsoft do in the CU update to FUBAR this?

I've gone on to try manually installing (again) and even when I find the printer listed it gives me an error that the driver might be out of date. Has anyone taken a PC with Windows 10 CU on it, removed all printers, and tried to install with these drivers? They're from 2015 so it's not unreasonable to think this latest update doesn't like something in there.
Man this is infuriating.

Alright. I've uninstalled the software (again) and instead of reinstalling it I tried to install the Windows drivers. This worked and the printer is now available. That tells me it definitely does NOT like your older drivers. But that also means I can't install your software, which I actually like, and will need to use Windows Fax and Scan for scanning, which is quite a horrible app, OR I use the AIO app which I also don't like. Oh well.

I understand that this has been quite a task and I appreciate you working tirelessly to fix this.
If the printing is working then for scanning you might want to use the HP Scan and Capture app. It works well for Win8 and Win10.
Good luck!
