Office Jet 8600 has a Printer Failure message that is NOT resolved by turning off and unplugging. The print cartridges were replaced and the error message continued. I was not able to view the printer's "menu" until I removed the color cartridges and then I was able to scan documents to the USB port. But once the ink cartridges are inserted, I get the error message and can't print. I checked the properties on the device and it shows "the device is working properly." However, in the Events tab option it reflects the following:
Device SWD\PRINTENUM\WSD-0e0561e0-0aaa-40f5-8844-a5bcaca67da4 requires further installation.
How can resolve the Printer Failure issue?
