OfficeJet 7740 Print A3 Borderless

Hello there. 

I can't print to OfficeJet 7740 borderless with A3 plain paper. I read an entire question in this forum that is already archived (could not add my comments in there) but the issue I have is the same everybody had on that forum. Basically, we get a conflict error if we choose both A3 paper and borderless option. 

The one bit of information I wanted to add is that this is possible from the Macs in our network, just not from the PCs. In the Macs we are printing directly from Photoshop, in the PCs we are printing from Adobe Reader.

The error in the PC is about conflicts in the configuration (Advanced Printing) and it suggests auto-fixing, which basically deselects the borderless options.

Thanks for using the HP Support Community.

When selecting borderless, it must be printed on "Photo paper".

Try that settings., (Bordereless and Photo paper)

Are you using the HP FULL featured sofwtare?

Try to download and install the FULL featured software:

Key in your printer model, Operating System and download & install the FULL feature software.

Once you have downloaded and installed the FULL feature software, you will be able to print and scan.'

Hi,

Borderless printing is not supported on Plain Paper with inkjet printers, only on thicker paper types.

You may find its user guide below:

Borderless Printing: Select this feature to print photos without border. 
Not all paper types support this feature. 
You will see an alert icon beside the option if the selected paper type in the Media drop-down list does not support it.
