OfficeJet Pro 9018
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

After adding my new OJ 9018 as WIFI DIRECT to my Win 10 PC  using the PIN from printer's front panel, it is not listed as a destination selection and Windows Control Panel shows "Driver is unavailable". Why? The printer works fine using non-direct WiFi. HP Smart App seems happy. What driver am UI missing?

@WalkaboutGaijin, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Are you able to print fine using the HP Smart app?

You may either use the app or the full-feature driver on the computer to print/scan.

Run HP Print and Scan Doctor to diagnose and fix any driver issue

Click here to download the file. Once downloaded, make sure to run the file to start the installation and click on 'Fix printing'.

If the issue persists, proceed to the next step.

Click here to download the HP Full-featured driver.

Once downloaded, make sure to run the file to start the installation and follow the on-screen instructions.

For more info, refer to - Printing with Wi-Fi Direct

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
