After a recent Windows 10 update, my printer stopped working. The message is that there's no driver. I've tried downloading software from the HP website and installing it, but nothing changes. The copy and scan functions of the printer still work, but I can't print anything from my files or from the Web.

I was able to solve the problem by going to Device Manager and updating the printer from there. Although the printer didn't appear under the list of printers, it did appear in the Printer queues list. I right-clicked there and selected Update Driver Software. I had looked in Device Manager before, but didn't think of looking in the Printer queues list. I had only looked under Printers.
