I have an HP Officejet Pro 8600 e-All-in-One Printer - N911a.
When I turn on the printer I get an 'Improper Shutdown' message. If I click OK to that message I get a 'Paper Jam' message. I have been through looking for paper jams, cleaning the rollers and resetting the printer buy turning pulling out the plug while the printer is turned on. There is by sure no paper pieces in the printer, I had never any real paper jam.
In other thread, there is mentioned an advanced reset procedure which he sent via private message. Can I do the same to resolve the issue?
Thanks,
Ralf

@Kiwi42, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
I understand you have a false paper jam error, make sure you have tried the steps mentioned in this document - Paper Jam Error
The advanced reset will only work if you are able to bypass this error and access the home screen of the printer. if not, you will not able to perform the reset.
Let me know.
