So I deleted the old HP printer listed under Printers & Scanners.
Then I clicked on "Add printer"
Windows found my printer and automatically installed it.
However, once installed, the error message -Attention required- immediately popped up.
I then went into Printer Properties - Advanced - New Driver.
I updated the Driver.
However, the error message never went away 😞

Let's create a TCP IP port
1. Print a Configuration Page to get the printer's IPv4 address (you can also tap on the wireless icon on the front panel of your Printer to get the IP address)
2. On your PC, go to Control Panel, from Devices and Printers, right-click the printer and left-click Printer Properties, select the Ports tab.
3. Click Add Port, select Standard TCP/IP Port, then select New Port and follow the wizard.
4. Type in the proper IP address for the printer.
This video resource will show you how to do it:

If you read my initial posting, you will see that I tried creating a static IP already which did not work.
Is there a more experienced HP support person that you could talk too about this issue? I have already tried all the common solutions I could find online with no success.
Thanks.

Do try installing the Printer on another Computer and see if it works.

Then this is a Computer issue. I'd recommend you to contact Microsoft regarding it.
