Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Trying to install Officejet 4500 printer driver on new HP ProBook 640 - get the following error:

System does not meet one or more of the minimum requirements needed to install this product. Shows 3 requirements: USB Driver, USB Hardware and Operating System. Under Details says This computer does not have the necessary USB software support to allow completion of a USB installation.

Any suggestions how to resolve?

I understand that you are unable to setup the printer over USB connection, is that right?

Not to worry, I will be glad to help. 

 

Are you able to make a copy on the printer?

 

Request you follow the procedure mentioned in this HP Article to resolve the issue.
