Hi @Praveenbv,
Thank you very much for your reply and for the link to the doctor utility. As it turns out, I subsequently upgraded my Windows Home version to Windows Pro and somehow during the upgrade process Windows automatically detected and enabled my printer, without me having to run the HP print driver software that was giving me the trouble to install.
I'm not sure how that happened, but printing works now including over wireless. I also obtained the generic HP Scan and Capture utility from Microsoft Store, so the scan function works now as well.
In any case, I'll keep a copy of your HP Print and Scan Doctor utility in case a problem develops in the future.
Regards,
George

Hi@GrokSurf, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
I reviewed your post and I understand that you are unable to connect the printer to your wireless network.
Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.
I recommend you run the HP printer and scan the doctor and it will automatically find and fix connectivity issues.
Download HP Print and Scan Doctor and run the program.
