Officejet 6950 Reset EWS Password

Our company has had the printer for a while and its seen it's fair share of IT people. My issue is that I need to change some settings on the printers EWS but the previous IT guy didn't write down the correct password. I've tried all the standard defaults and phoned technical support who just reset the printer but this didn't change the EWS password back to defaults. Is there a way to do this? or is the EWS inaccessible until I find the right password?

The only option left is to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer. 

The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.
