Officejet 8710 Only Printing in black and white

I have an officejet 8710 series printer. Windows downloaded an update yesterday, and today the printer started printing only in grayscale. I have plenty of colored ink, I made a color copy and it came out in full color. I have toggled the print settings from grayscale to black and white to off-nothing. Every copy comes out in grayscale. I uninstalled the printer and drivers and reinstalled-still prints in grayscale. I ran the diagnostic tool in the HP Smart app, and it says the printer is normal. Not sure what to do from here.

Try following below version of the HP Print and Scan Doctor Utility by selecting your printer:

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/printers/hppsdr/patches/HPPSdr.exe

Be sure to restart your PC and allow the utility to complete the process, then check for any difference.

Try printing and check for any change, if the same remains try printing using the newly added print queue copy and check.
