My current issue with the printer it will not print. It can scan and copy fine. I noticed this issue started from the latter Windows 10 automatic update. It was working with the previous Windows 10 original automatic update.
Along with the subject error mentioned above, another error appeared "Fatal Error During Installation" when installing the printer driver program (AJ_A10_J4500_FULL_WN_140_404-4) and this was during the configuration product step. The driver program also provided troubleshooting and found it was caused by "HP Install Error - Windows 8". I tried to remedy by picking up some tip from this forum including using the Microsoft program Install and uninstall/meta program with no avail.
Though, would the printer not compatible with Windows 10 last update??

Hi,
Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately, the solution you provided did not quite fix the issue.
This morning I uploaded my PC the latest version of Windows 10 (Version 1909 for x64) and finally the printer is now back to 100% working again. Apparently this same version failed to upload about a week or so ago that made some incompatibility issue with the printer driver.
Here's how I did for those of you with same problem as mind:
1. On Windows search in task bar are (bottom left corner of screen), type windows update
2. On the "Windows Update" screen, find and click "Check for updates"
3. Accept all updates, or at least all critical updates.
4. The downloading and install will start and will take a few hours to complete (mind took about 8 hours).
5. After installation you will be prompted to restart your PC.
6. After the restart, it will ask you to download the latest driver for the printer, just click yes and just follow the next steps.

Welcome to HP Community
I have gone through your Post and would like to help
I suggest you uninstall the printer driver from root level and download the full feature software
1.) In Windows, search for and open Programs and features
2.) Select your HP Printer
3.) Select Uninstall
4.) In Windows, search for and open Devices and printers
5.) In the Devices and Printers windows look for your HP printer. If you see it listed right-click on it and choose ‘Delete’ or ‘Remove Device’
6.) Open up the run command with the “Windows key + R” key combo.
7.) Type printui.exe /s and click Ok. (Note: there is a space in between “printui.exe” and “/s”)
8.) Click on the “Drivers” tab
9.) Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it Click on it and click Remove at the bottom
10.) Select Ok
11.) Select Apply and Ok on the Print Server Properties windows
12.) Close Devices and Printers
13.) Restart the computer and download the Full Feature Software from Here and follow the onscreen Instructions
Keep me posted how it goes 😊
