Officejet Pro 8610
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have an HP OfficeJet Pro 8610 which has worked flawlessly until recently. I began to get error messages when I printed a Word document and a PDF Document. I was advised to uninstall and re-install the 8610 software. I uninstalled it using the Control Panel, rebooted my laptop, and turned off and turn on my printer.

I downloaded the Officejet 8610 Full Featured software release date Novemeber 15, 2015. The software downloaded properly, extracted, and begtan to install. The software indentified my printer inthe network with the correct IP address. However, when began the connection process, it failed at less 5 times, even after taking my Firewall's offline.

Does anyone have any experience or solutions to this dilemma?    Help!

Welcome to HP forums, I see that you are getting connectivity issues.

Restore the printer to the original network settings.

1. From the printer control panel, touch and slide your finger across the screen, touch Setup, and then touch Network Setup.

2. Touch Restore Network Defaults, and then touch Yes. A message appears stating that the network defaults have been restored.

3. Touch OK.

4. Print the network configuration page and verify that the network settings have been reset.

Run Wireless Setup Wizard and connect the printer back to the router.

1. From the printer control panel display, touch and slide your finger across the screen and then touch Setup.

2. Touch Network Setup.

3. Touch Wireless Settings.

4. Touch Wireless Setup Wizard.

5. Follow the display instructions to complete the setup.

Then install the printer driver and complete the printer setup.

Click here to download the driver.

Let me know how it goes.

To thank me for my efforts to help you, please mark my post as an accepted solution so that it benefits several others and please give the same post a Kudos.

Cheers.
