Officejet Pro 9015
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Just purchased this printer and it works great except for my main software, Clientrax, errors out trying to print invoices. My software vendor says that this printer has a pcl 3 driver (I verified that is true) but Clientrax requires either pcl 5 or preferably pcl 6 driver. I only saw a pcl 3 driver on hp website. I did try the hp universal driver which I believe is a pcl 6 but the 9015 printer did not like it. It's funny that Clientrax running on Windows 7 machines prints fine to the printer, it's only Windows 10 machines that have the issue. Any suggestions?

Hello you might try using a UPD (universal print driver). You can find it at this link below, select the pcl 6 UPD.

Hope this helps, thanks.

Spoiler
That is the UPD that I had already tried. When I use it then hit print test page, the printer shoots out over 30 pages, some blank, some with random symbols. I have to shut the printer down to get it to stop. So it seems the UPD is not so universal. Unless I can find a pcl 6 driver that works with this model, I have a $300 paperweight. Any other ideas, I'd appreciate it. Thanks
