The embedded web server has a backup and restore function under Tools.  The backup function asks you to supply a password but not a file location.  The restore function asks you for a password and a file location.  Where does the backup function send the backup file?

I use firefox to access the embedded web server and the backup file (usrdata.enc) is automatically saved in Downloads folder.

Thanks for posting the question.

It is asking for the folder location in your PC. Ensure you share a folder in you pc  so that printer can access the shared folder.

Type the path for the network folder in the box below UNC Path Name. UNC paths follow this
format:
\\PCname\sharename\foldername

In the area for Authentication Settings, provide the appropriate information for your PC.
● For Windows, type the Windows the Username, and the Password

Thanks for your response.  I knew that Restore wanted a folder.  I just didn't know which folder Backup had used to store the file.  Valsimot told me that it goes to the Downloads folder.  That solved my problem.
