Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

With HP it seems in order to download the driver, you need to install their program, and that they don't have the driver by itself anymore. This causes a problem for the company I work with. They use a SASS product called Printer Logic (I will call this PL for short), which needs the solo driver to be installed onto their platform so it can send out to other users. With the HP smart, it can download the driver but it isn't the right format. PL only likes drivers that are .inf drivers, which for someone reason doesn't come with the Officejetpro 7740 drivers that are installed from HP smart.  We have not had this problem with the other 10+ printer models we have in the company and this Officejet was given to us from a company we acquired so its not our normal standard.

I was wondering if HP has a .inf driver for this printer so we can get it added to our PL program.

Thank you FerRX, but I have already tried this driver before and it doesn't work. I have again to pull the drivers from the install file but our printer program will not take it and when I try to get the HP program to see the printer (the printer is in another state but still on our network) the HP program claims it doesn't see it even tho I can get into the printers WebGUI.
