Hi @mpc223

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.

I acknowledge the situation where the printer shows online but the PC reports it as offline. Let’s go through recommended steps to bring the OfficeJet Pro 9135e back online:

Step 1: Confirm Printer Connection in HP App

  • Open the HP App on your Windows PC.
  • Ensure the printer is listed and shows as “Ready.”
  • If it shows “Offline,” select the printer, then choose Reconnect.

Step 2: Reset the HP App Connection

  • Go to Windows Settings > Apps > Installed Apps.
  • Locate HP App, select Advanced Options, then choose Reset.
  • Reopen the HP App and add the printer again.

Step 3: Verify Printer Status in Windows

  • Open Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
  • Right‑click your OfficeJet Pro 9135e, select See what’s printing.
  • In the window, click Printer and ensure Use Printer Offline is unchecked.

Step 4: Run Diagnose & Fix in HP App

  • In the HP App, select your printer.
  • Choose Diagnose & Fix to automatically detect and resolve connectivity issues.

Step 5: Update Printer Drivers

These steps are structured to ensure the printer and PC communicate correctly. Once completed, the printer should appear online in Windows and allow printing.

Take care, and have an amazing day!
