Microsoft Windows 11

I had an excellent older HP printer. HP no longer offered Firmware updates for that model, so I upgraded to the HP Officejet Pro 8210e series printer. I also decided to bite the bullet and join the ink delivery plan.

Unlike my old printer, this new one has been a constant source of frustration. The printing process is unpredictable, with pages printing in a seemingly random order. The printer often halts mid-print, displaying a 'Printer Blocked' message. After clearing the issue, it inexplicably goes offline despite being connected.

I have run the Print Doctor, uninstalled and re-installed it, and checked for Firmware updates.

To add insult to my frustrations, because of the massive waste of paper and printer ink, I was just charged nearly $50 extra for exceeding my page limits on the plan this month.

I have now cancelled the plan but will still be charged another month under this same plan before the cancellation will kick in.

I would like community feedback on two issues:

1) Is anyone else having printing issues with the 8210e series? If yes, what have you tried?

2) Why does HP charge me for a plan when it is my paper and ink that I have paid for and use. What use is a plan?

Any feedback would be appreciated.
