Product: HP Photosmart C3180 All-in-One Printer

An orange light has been flashing on my HP Photosmart C3180 printer. This indicates a paper issue. I have made sure there is a fresh supply of paper and that the paper guides are correctly aligned. I have also installed fresh HP ink cartridges. 

Upon starting up the printer I receive an HP error message. It states: "Your printer is out of paper". 

 

I would appreciate some help with this dilemma.
